| ⚠️ IMPORTANT: Entrants cannot change their photo on their own, without your permission as a Contest Administrator. They can edit their entry information (fields, etc) on their own at any time, via their participant account at the contest site. |
Occasionally, you may have an entrant reach out wanting to change their entry photo. Or, you may be reviewing the entries at your contest site and realize one doesn't quite fit in with your contest rules.
Swapping out a photo is a much better option than completely denying an entry, especially if the entry already has votes applied toward it.
Following the instructions below will allow you to send a link to the entrant so they can make a one-time update to their entry photo.

Sending a Link to the Entrant So They Can Upload Their Own Image
1. Log into the GGPC Admin: www.gogophotocontest.com/admin
2. Navigate to Entries at the top of the page:
3. The Contest Entries page loads. In the Participants dropdown, begin typing the name or email address of the participant to find the entry you wish to deny (or you can do a search by using Control + F).
4. When you've located the entry, click the Edit icon to edit it.
5. The Edit Entry screen loads.
Under Update Option 2, check Allow the entrant to make a one-time photo update:
A link will be generated that you can copy:
If you're responding to an entrant that has reached out to change their photo, you can send this link back to them using whichever method they reached out to you.
Or, if you want to proactively reach out an entrant because their image is against your contest rules, send this link to your entrant using your own email client, along with a message about why you're requesting a new photo.
If you need to find the entrant's email address, you can locate it right on the same screen:
6. IMPORTANT: Click SAVE at the bottom of the screen before sending the link to your entrant (this turns on the ability for the entrant to make that one-time photo update).
