Denying an Entry in Your Contest

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Denying an entry does not automatically refund votes or entry fees.


It is far better to swap out an entrant's photo for one that does meet your guidelines, without denying the entry. Find instructions for changing photos here: Changing an Entrant's Photo➝

If you still need to deny an entry and need the votes or entry fee refunded, please contact us at hello@gogophotocontest.com with the entrant's name and email address and we will be happy to assist you. 



How to Deny an Entry:


1. Log into the GGPC Admin: https://www.gogophotocontest.com/admin

2. Navigate to Entries at the top of the page:

3. On the Contest Entries page, click on the Pencil Icon next to the entry you wish to deny:

4. The Add/Edit Entry page appears. Click the drop-down next to Status and select Denied.

Then, click "SAVE":

5. The entry now appears under the Denied tab on the Entries page. It will no longer appear to the public on the contest site.

6. Our system does not automatically notify the entrant that their entry has been denied. This means that you will need to reach out to the entrant to let them know that they entry has been denied.

You can do this by finding their email address under the Entry information (see red arrows):
