About the Sponsorship Custom Form

Some organizations seek out sponsorships or advertisements for their calendar or event, and have asked for a way to collect this information directly on their contest site.

To support this, we now offer a customizable Sponsorship form to make it easy to collect sponsorship information and donations in an organized way.

We've seen that sponsorships are typically incorporated into a contest in two ways:

Using our customizable Sponsorship form allows you to facilitate a connection with local businesses and benefactors, while generating additional fundraising for your campaign.

Why should I include Sponsors in my calendar?

Three reasons:

#1 Immediate revenue without donor fatigue
Sponsorship dollars typically come from businesses, not individual supporters. Sponsorships can also help you reach the $5,000 (5%) pricing threshold more quickly.

#2 Strong local business engagement
Calendar sponsorships give businesses something they actually want: Year-long visibility in homes and offices, positive brand association with your mission, and community goodwill.

#3 Expands your promotional reach
Sponsors often share the contest with their customers, promote it on social media, and display the calendar in their location.

Bottom line:
Encouraging calendar sponsorships transforms your contest into a multi-stream fundraising engine. It boosts net revenue, deepens community business partnerships, and builds a more sustainable campaign year after year.

How does it work?

Our basic Sponsorship form includes the most commonly requested fields:

  • business information fields

  • an image/logo upload

  • sponsorship payment (you set this amount)

The Sponsorship form differs from our Calendar Order and Reserve-a-Spot modules in that it's customizable.

Some of the customizable features of the form:

  • add fields

  • change the names of fields

  • add multiple pricing options

  • limit the number of spots available

  • and even change the name of the form (so the link on your site matches your campaign)

How does it appear on my contest site?

Your Sponsorship form is available in three places on your contest site:

  • Under the Participate drop-down
  • In the right-hand container on your Homepage, under Recent Entries:
  • And in a blurb at the bottom of your Homepage (this text can be completely customized):

You can share the link to the form on your website and social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc).

The form can remain live even after your contest has ended, for continued Sponsorship reservations.

How can I get the information submitted to the Sponsorship form?

You will have access to the information for those who have reserved a spot in the GGPC Admin under Reports & Downloads > Submissions

You can also download the images/logos uploaded to the Sponsorship form on this page, by clicking Download Files at the top of the page.

Is the Sponsorship form right for my photo contest?

Keep in mind that GoGo Photo Contest does not offer calendar design services, and so you would need to work with a print house or studio that allows your calendar to be customized.

We recommend working with our friends at GBC Fundraising Calendars- they offer a plethora of calendar design options.

How much does it cost to use the Sponsorship form?

It does not cost extra to use the Sponsorship custom form, but the donations that come in through the module are subject to our regular GoGo Photo Contest transaction fees.

I want to use the Sponsorship form— how do I advertise it on my photo contest site?

We'll place a paragraph on your Homepage that says the following (this can be customized with your own language and pricing, of course):

Businesses Sponsorship

Calling all businesses! For just $30, you can feature your advertisement in our community calendar. It's a simple and affordable way to keep your business in front of pet‑loving families throughout the year while helping support a project that brings our community together.
