About the 🌈 Rainbow Bridge Memorial Form

Some organizations have asked about ways to turn memorial inclusions in their calendar into an additional fundraising opportunity, while respectfully honoring a donor’s beloved pet.

To support this, we offer a customizable Rainbow Bridge Memorial form available to any organization that includes a photo calendar as part of their prize package, and is working with a print partner that allows calendar customization.

This form makes it easy to collect memorial submissions and donations in an organized way.

We've seen that memorial spots are typically incorporated in one of two ways, depending on your printer’s capabilities:

• Featured together in a dedicated collage or tribute page
• Placed in open grids or spaces throughout the calendar

Why should I include 🌈 Rainbow Bridge Memorial tributes in my calendar?

Two reasons:

Supporters appreciate the opportunity to honor their beloved pets. This allows more pets to be featured in the calendar and typically leads to higher calendar sales, since most participants who reserve a spot also plan to purchase a copy of your calendar.

#2 An easy fundraising boost
Each reserved memorial spot requires a donation, creating an additional fundraising stream for your campaign. It can also help you reach the $5,000 (5%) pricing threshold more quickly.

Bottom line:
Using the Rainbow Bridge custom form makes your calendar more inclusive by giving supporters another way to participate, while also helping increase overall fundraising totals.
 

How does it work?

Our basic Rainbow Bridge form includes the most commonly requested fields:

• an image/photo upload

• the pet's name

• memorial dates

• donation payment (you set this amount)

The Rainbow Bridge form differs from our Calendar Order and Reserve-a-Spot modules in that it's customizable.

We can add fields, change the names of fields, or even limit the number of spots available.

Two real world examples:

Happy Life Beagle Rescue kept their form simple, and collected a photo and a name to be featured on a memorial page within their calendar, along with a $20 donation for each spot.
 

Little Paws Dachshund Rescue had two spots that could be reserved at the bottom of each calendar page, and each spot could hold up to two photos. Each spot was a $25 donation:
 

In the example above, our form automatically kept track of the available spots that were left. 

 

How does it appear on my contest site?

Your Rainbow Bridge form is available under the Participate drop-down on your contest site:
 

It's also located in the right-hand container on your Homepage, under Recent Entries:
 

And in a blurb at the bottom of your Homepage (this text can be completely customized):
 

You can share the link to the form on your website and social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc).

The form can remain live even after your contest has ended, for continued Rainbow Bridge reservations.
 

How can I get the information submitted to the Rainbow Bridge form?

You will have access to the information for those who have reserved a spot in the GGPC Admin under Reports & Downloads > Submissions

Is the Rainbow Bridge form right for my photo contest?

Keep in mind that GoGo Photo Contest does not offer calendar design services, and so you would need to work with a print house or studio that allows your calendar to be customized.
