Submitting a Test Entry Into Your Photo Contest

Submitting a test entry into your contest before it begins is always recommended. It gives you the opportunity to make sure that your entry settings (fields, etc) are correct, and also helps you to understand the entry process in case any of your participants have questions.


How to submit a test entry into your photo contest:


1. Log into the GGPC Admin: www.gogophotocontest.com/admin


2. Click on View Contest in the upper right-hand corner of the GGPC Admin:
 

 

3. You are now logged in to your contest site as ADMIN MODE, which turns entering and voting on just for you (more info).

A red Admin Mode bar will appear across the top of your contest site:
 


4. Click Enter Contest to proceed with entering your contest.
 

⚠️ IMPORTANT: You need to create a user account at the public photo contest site if you haven't already done so— this is a separate account from your GGPC Admin account.

  • You can use any email address and personal information that you wish (it does not have to match the information provided in the GGPC Admin)

💡 If you have previously created a user account: simply provide the email address you used for that account and you will be prompted for your password to login.

 

5. After you have logged in, fill out your entry details and click NEXT:
 


6. Continue clicking "Next" to review all of the entry pages of your entry process. If anything looks amiss, reach out to us and we'd be happy to help.
 


After reviewing all entry pages:

If you still want to enter the contest, click "Previous" to come back to the Step 2 (Review).

Then, enter the contest by clicking "Admin Mode: By-pass donation and enter contest"(this is optional and only if you want to complete the entry process)


Your test entry is complete:
 

 
And now appears at the contest site:
 


❌ How do I remove my test entry?

Food for thought: Some contest admins keep their test entry on the site as encouragement for initial participants who may feel shy about being the first to enter.
