Success Stories: Raise More (and Expand Your Reach!) with a Beer or Wine Label Fundraiser

Rescue Brew – a collaboration between NoDa Brewing Company and the Humane Society of Charlotte

While a monthly feature in a wall calendar remains a coveted prize, a fan-favorite is quickly gaining momentum: Rescue Brew contests that put winning pets on wine, beer, or other beverage labels.

🍻 Partnering with a local brewery or winery to craft and name a custom beverage in honor of the winner brings added excitement to the competition and creates a unique opportunity for deeper community engagement and fundraising reach while boosting the philanthropic image of the business you team up with. It's a win-win!

Even better? Unlike calendar contests, beverage label fundraisers aren’t tied to strict printing deadlines, making them perfect for anytime of the year.

🥂 Beverage label contests are now the second most popular fundraiser on the GoGo Photo Contest platform, closing in fast on calendars. Many organizations have turned their contest into an annual fundraiser, bringing in over six-figures to support their missions!

BONUS FUNDRAISING:
Throw a launch party or label reveal event to celebrate the winner and raise even more for your cause!

💡 GoGo Photo Contest is the perfect online platform for running a beer or wine label contest, but we do not offer design or printing services.

This contest is best paired with a local winery or brewery that has the resources to help you in creating a custom label or beverage can and the reach to spread the word about your contest among their own fans and patrons. 🍾🍺🐾

Winnipeg Humane Society's:

WHS Pets on Pints

💰 Over $114,000 raised in 2024

Winnipeg Humane Society partnered with Good Neighbour Brewing Co. for “Pets on Pints,” a donate-to-vote beer-label fundraiser. Supporters entered pet photos and rallied votes; the top four pets earned spots on a limited-edition Pet Pals Pilsner 4-pack from Good Neighbour. The campaign culminated with a July 17 label reveal, with beer available at Good Neighbour and select Liquor Marts across Winnipeg.

Here's an example of their prizes:

The top two winners will each win a place for their pet to be featured on one of two cans in a 4-pack of Good Neighbour beer, a special limited release. (One animal per label.)

The third and fourth label will be awarded through a draw. Each fundraiser will receive one entry into the draw for every $100 CAD raised. Winners will be randomly selected from these entries. This draw will be separated into two categories: Dogs | Cats and other furry friends. This will make sure a variety of animals will make their way onto the labels.

All four winners will receive a prize that includes a flat (6 packs of 4) of Good Neighbour Brewing Co. beer, delivered to them at no cost given they are within Winnipeg city limits.
