Sending a Mass Email to Contest Participants

To reach out to contest participants, you will probably want to use an email client that allows you to do mass email sends such as SendGrid or MailChimp.

You can attempt to send marketing emails through an email client such as Gmail or Yahoo but they will most likely limit the amount of sends you can do in one day.

Gmail, for example, will temporarily disable your account if you send messages to more than 500 recipients or if you send a large number of undeliverable messages. If you use a POP or IMAP client (for example: Microsoft Outlook or Apple Mail), you may only send a message to 100 people at a time. Your account should be re-enabled within 24 hours. Source
